By Plane: The nearest airport is in Cairo, about 170km from Akoris. From Cairo, there are several bus and taxi services which offer regular services to Akoris. You can also take a domestic flight into Marsa Matrouh airport, and then take a bus or a taxi from there. By Bus: There are direct buses from Cairo, Alexandria, Mansura, and Damanhur to Akoris. Tickets typically cost around $17 USD and the journey takes around four hours. By Train: Unfortunately, there is no direct train service to Akoris. However, there are several services from Cairo, Mansura, and Alexandria that have stops along the way, so you should be able to access the town from one of these points.
