Santiago Apostol Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Ponferrada, Spain. It is dedicated to St. James the Great, a patron of Spain and Santiago de Compostela. The original structure, dating back to the 12th century, was built as an extension of the Camino de Santiago, or Way of Saint James. The Cathedral has seen various modifications over the centuries and currently serves as the seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of León.

In 2007, the diocese announced plans to restore and strengthen the structure, which included seismic retrofitting. The restoration was completed in 2014.
