History
The Pentecostal Church of God has its roots in a revival of the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) that took place at the turn of the century. In the early 1900s, the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) began to experience strong Pentecostal outpourings in several of its meetings. In 1919, a group of ministers associated with the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) organized the Pentecostal Church of God in Joplin, Missouri.
