Iglesia Misionera Pentecostal Luz y Vida is a church of Latin American Pentecostal Christians located in Panama City. It was founded in 1981 as an outreach ministry for the spiritual growth of the Hispanic population in the area. History Iglesia Misionera Pentecostal Luz y Vida was founded by its current pastor, Gustavo A. Durango, in 1981. Durango had come to Panama City to work as a preacher in an Asambleas de Dios church. He soon saw a need for ministry specifically targeting the Hispanic population in the area and left to found his own church. Luz y Vida held its first service in June of 1981, with only a handful of people present. Since then, the church has grown and now has over 200 members who meet regularly for worship and fellowship.
