The Yivli Minare Mosque (“Fluted Minaret” Mosque), located in Antalya, Turkey, is one of the oldest and most iconic buildings in the city. The mosque has been through multiple renovations over the centuries, with the most significant one taking place in 1794 when the entire interior was converted into a smaller mosque, an addition which was made by Sultan Selim III. During the 19th century, the mosque was used as an elementary school until it was converted back to a religious center in 1912.
