History:
The church was founded by Rev. Thomas Lewis who was the vicar of a Holy Trinity in Leamington Spa, which was established back in the 1700s. Construction of the Church of S. John Baptist began in 1843 and was completed in 1845. The neo-Gothic style building is made of red and yellow bricks with stone detailing. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in England.

The Church of S. John Baptist is home to a large four-manual pipe organ which was commissioned by Thomas Short in 1888. The church hall dates back to 1880 and provides some of the facilities that the church offers such as youth clubs and junior church. In 2003, the church was divided into three separate parishes, which are the Leamington Spa Parishes.

The Church of S. John Baptist offers a number of services including Holy Communion services on Sundays, weekday services on Wednesdays and regular services on most major festivals. The church also has a cafe, entitled 'The Porch Stop Cafe', which serves refreshments on Saturdays and Sunday mornings. Aside from services and prayer meetings, they also offer events such as Women's World Day of Prayer, plus music activities like Choir Practice and annual choral services.This beautiful church in England has made a lot of significance in the past.
