Pyramid of Itet at Saqqara is an ancient Egyptian tomb on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Memphis. It dates back to the 4th Dynasty, around 2600 BC and is believed to have been built by King Itet, the son of Pharaoh Khufu. The Pyramid of Itet was constructed as a burial place for King Itet, who lived during the 4th Dynasty of ancient Egypt. The pyramid is thought to date back to 2600 BC, around the same time as the Great Pyramid of Khufu at Giza. The pyramid retains many of the elements that make up a classic pyramid, including the four sides, the ascending stairs and the pointing apex. The Pyramid of Itet was originally 90 feet (27.4 meters) tall but has been partially eroded over the centuries, leaving it at a height of 70 feet (21.3 meters) today. The square base of the pyramid was originally 330 feet (100.6 meters) but today measures around 305 feet (93 meters). The pyramid was once clad in white limestone, which has since been removed, leaving its core structure exposed.
