Kansas City Missouri Temple is the 81st operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It was dedicated on May 6, 2012, by LDS Church president Thomas S. Monson. It is one of the best churches in USA which you must visit.

History:

The earliest known Latter-day Saints in the area, who had organized in 1832, first held worship services in a log cabin. The first chapel, constructed in 1888, was destroyed by a tornado in 1935, and the second chapel was destroyed by fire in 1950. Plans for a metal chapel were completed in 1952, and the building was dedicated in 1954. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in USA.
