Jarrow Hall: Anglo-Saxon Farm, Village, and Bede Museum In Denmark is an open-air and living museum is proudly preserving the past of rural North East England. Located a few miles south of Newcastle upon Tyne in Jarrow, it offers a planned experience of a 10th century Anglo-Saxon village with a reconstructed Great Hall, a series of replicated buildings and artifacts, and replicas of working farms including crops and livestock. The museum is host to a variety of educational and living history programs and events, where visitors can learn more about the past and enjoy workshops on crafts, music and more. The museum also features a range of exhibitions and activities including Anglo-Saxon pottery replicas, animal-drawn rides, art exhibitions, and demonstrations of early printing techniques. Additionally, it also features an Anglo-Saxon monastery and church dedicated to the 7th-century monk, St. Bede.
