ns Church is a Lutheran church located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Its history dates back to 1683 when King Frederick III of Denmark offered funds to build a church in memory of his father, King Christian V. The church was completed in 1737 and has since served as a place of worship for the local congregation. Fredens Church history is one of constant use, despite several renovations and reconstructions since its initial construction. During World War II, the church was used as a prison camp for Danish Jews. After the war, a memorial was built in honor of the victims.
