Tomba alla Torre del Giudizio (Sepolcro romano di via Teodora sotto la Torre del Giudizio) is a historic Roman burial site located in the heart of Rome. The burial chamber was found in modern times in the Via Teodora area, under the Torre del Giudizio, which is why this tomb has been referred to as Tomba allla Torre del Giudizio. Archaeologists estimate that the tomb was built in the first century A.D., where the remains of a Roman man and woman were found.
Tomba alla Torre del Giudizio is most famous for its sculpted façade, which features a frieze with nine scenes depicting symbols of Roman gods, goddesses, and their divine stories. The frieze is divided into four panels, each of which has a central figure surrounded by the emblems of other gods. These panels are surrounded by slabs of 2nd century marble depicting stories of Dionysus, Juno and Apollo, Dionysus and Hercules, and Minerva and Juno.
