Discover - Chiesa Neo-Apostolica di Roma - Fact, History and Travel Information
The Chiesa Neo-Apostolica di Roma is a new Apostolic Church that was founded in 2004 in Rome, Italy. It was built after a period of inquiry and debate, in which many Italians of differing beliefs and backgrounds discussed the need for a church to provide the spiritual, moral, and social support for the people of Rome. It is a Christian church which follows the teachings of Christ and the Bible and functions according to the Liturgical and Rituals of the Catholic Church, but also has a strong focus on the cultural and spiritual diversity of the city. The Neo-Apostolic Church of Rome encourages dialog and collaboration among all denominations of Christianity, and seeks to foster a sense of unity and co-existence in its members. It provides pastoral counseling, and spiritual support to the people of Rome, and sees the church as a place for celebrating the joys of life and for interfaith dialogue.
