Damsholte Church is a Lutheran Church located in Central Denmark. It is one of the oldest churches in the country, with documents from 1351 indicating its existence. It was originally built in the Romanesque style, though the current building dates from the 17th century. Damsholte Church features a limestone structure and includes a tall tower, which is utilized for the ringing of bells. As time went on, the church was expanded and renovated several times and the current building was completed in the 17th century. Services are held in both Danish and German. Every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. there is a mass held in the medieval style with prayers in both languages. Additionally, the church holds special services and events throughout the year such as confirmation classes, Bible readings, children’s church, chapel services, concerts, and memorial services.
