Chattarpur Mandir in Delhi follows the traditional Hindu temple rituals and puja of worshipping the Lord. It is based on the teachings of the Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas. Before entering the temple, devotees take bath and perform aarti of the idols of Devi/Devta after which they offer flowers, fruits and vermicelli to the deities. Prasad is distributed to all devotees after the aarti. Thereafter, devotees light ghee lamps and perform pooja, chanting mantras and shloks.
