The worship method of Amunthirathu Devi Temple is a combination of Hindu and Muslim customs. It is believed that this temple was built by a Muslim king. Worship here is conducted in a mix of both Hindu and Muslim tradition. The main festivals celebrated here are the annual Amunthirathu Yatra which is held in the months of April-May and the Malaiyil Amunthirathu Thirunal in November-December.
