History:
The Temple of St. Ludmila was established by Vratislav I, Duke of Bohemia, during the reign of King Boleslav I in the 11th century. It is believed to have been completed by 1060 AD and the dedication to St. Ludmila at that time. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Czechia.

The architecture of the church is of a typical Romanesque style, with a single apse, three entrances and a partly vaulted ceiling. It is one of the few surviving examples of Romanesque architecture in Prague and a protected monument. The interior is richly decorated with frescoes from the 12th and 16th century, including paintings of saints, angels and a depiction of the Apostles.
