St. Norbert In Czechia is an historical church located in the small village of Zlatníky near Břeclav, Czechia. The first mention of the church dates back to 1337, and was part of the Cistercian Archabbey of Mariánské Hory. It is one of the best churches in Czechia which you must visit.

History:

St. Norbert was founded in 1277, and Vratislav of Břeclav of the Znojmo-Moravian line started the construction of the church in 1337. It was damaged in the Hussite Wars and was reconstructed in 1419. From the 15th to 17th century, alterations and renovation took place until the church was finally rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1668. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Czechia.
