The Unitarian Church in Moravia and Silesia (Czech: Unitaristé v Moravskoslezské oblasti) is a Unitarian church founded in 1777 in the former Moravian and Silesian regions in what is now the Czech Republic. The Czech Unitarians have a long history of religious and civil liberty. After the 18th century Enlightenment, which introduced the Unitarian faith to Moravia and Silesia, Unitarianism spread throughout the region and its influence began to be felt in areas of philosophy, literature and politics.
