History:
The Church of St. Peter and Paul is a Catholic church located in Prague in the Czech Republic. The church was built in the baroque style between 1694 and 1711 on the site of a former Romanesque parish chapel. The site was originally owned by the Augustinian monastery in Letovice, where a Romanesque church is thought to have existed. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Czechia.

The Church of St. Peter and Paul is widely known for its baroque interior, which was designed by prominent Czech architect Jan Blazej Santini who was commissioned by the Bishop of Litoměřice. The main feature of the church is the impressive organ that was built by Jan František Kněž. Other features include numerous frescoes, a stunning marble altar and an intricately carved wooden pulpit.
