The Hanging Temple, located in Hunyuan County, Shanxi Province, is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. It is also known as the Xuan Kong Temple, or the Suspended Temple due to its unique architecture. Worship at the Hanging Temple is a mixture of Buddhist and Taoist traditions.
