Hope Baptist Church, Ngousso In Cameroon is a religious gathering house in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. It was founded by Rev. Paul Mandja, a Cameroonian pastor and adherents of the Baptist Church denomination who decided to break away from the predominant church of their region, the Presbyterian Church. They founded Hope Baptist Church in 1978 and it has grown to become a thriving, vibrant, evangelical center for worship and ministry in the region. The church serves local people, who identify with its evangelical message, and refrains from imposing strict creeds and regulations on its members. It has a strong sense of community, with members attending church not just for services, but also for fellowship, education and spiritual guidance. The church also provides medical and practical help to those in need, and seeks to demonstrate the love of God to all around it. Hope Baptist Church has missions both in Cameroon and abroad, in countries as far away as Germany, Congo, France and the United States of America. The church also provides bible study courses and theological training to pastors, leaders and other church members, as well as participating in numerous discipleship programs.
