The Wat Veal Khep Hindu temple, located in the Kampong Speu Province of Cambodia, follows a unique form of Hindu worship known as Vaama Marga. It is a devotional path focused on Kali Ma and represents a synthesis of Shiva and Shakti. Vaama Marga is a unique form of Hindu Shaivism which incorporates elements of ancestral ancestor worship with Hinduism. When worshipping at this temple, devotees will first recite a few mantras followed by a ritual offering of fruits and incense to the image of Goddess Kali.
