The church started in 1964 and is part of St Paul's Apostolic Group, which was founded in 1963 by Pastor Paul Manomogolo. It is known for its fellowship, community service and outreach programmes. History:

In 1964, two apostles, Paul Manomogolo and Reuben Lechaba, established the first evangelical mission in Gaborone, then known as Lobatse. They rented a shack which housed their services and outreach programmes. Soon after, they acquired a piece of land and commenced building what would be the Lobatse parish, a symbol of faith for the people of Gaborone. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Botswana.
