Hill View Church was founded in 1947 by 21 charter members of a church with a long history in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Rev. Harlowe C. Bowen was the first pastor of the newly formed church, and services were held on Sunday afternoons from 1947-1951. Burke Lee was the pastor when the church relocated in 1952, and the first service was held in the new facility on February 20, 1952. Hill View Church This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Botswana.
