CIC House of Champions In Botswana: History,Facts, & Services

CIC House of Champions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment for at-risk youth in Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in 1978, it is one of the oldest and largest community-based youth centers in the United States. It provides a variety of services and programs including education assistance, job training, recreational activities and social service referrals. The House of Champions also offers after-school programs and summer camps. CIC House of Champions History CIC House of Champions was founded in 1978 by community leaders and residents who were concerned about the needs of young people in the Charlotte area. The original organization was called the "House of Champions Sisterly Options Program," and its first office was located on South Clarkson Street in Charlotte. In the 1980s, CIC House of Champions expanded its services to include job readiness training, mentoring programs, career counseling, and more.
