History:

St. Paul’s Church in Antwerp, Belgium has a rich and long-standing history. It was originally built in the 12th century, making it one of the city’s oldest churches. The church’s original design was a Romanesque style, and it was built atop an ancient Roman temple. It was known as St. Paul’s Cathedral at that time. In the 15th century, the church underwent major renovations. The structure was enlarged with a new Gothic Choir, and a grand tower was erected, featuring a large and impressive spire.
