Moses and Aaron Church (officially Church of St. Anthony of Padua), located in Brussels, Belgium, is an Italian-style Roman Catholic church. The Church was built between 1739 and 1762 and stands as an impressive testimony of Italian Baroque architecture and design. It was built in honor of St. Anthony of Padua in response to the growing population of Italian immigrants in the area. The church is named after the biblical figures Moses and Aaron to commemorate the Jewish people’s acceptance of St. Anthony as their heavenly advocate. The exterior of the Church features a large dome, a monumental portico, and richly decorated façades. Inside the church, there is an impressive bas-relief by Bigger and exceptional stucco work by Georgini. The Marble high altar is an impressive feature that can be found inside the Church. Every year the Church celebrates the Feast of St. Anthony on 13 June and the feast of the Immaculate Conception on 8 December. The Church also provides a range of services for its parishioners including baptisms, weddings, funerals and Mass times.
