History:

Portions of the Roman Catholic community, which had historically been present in Leuven, Belgian, had dwindled in recent decades and, in an effort to re-establish a spiritual home for English-speaking Catholics, the CESCL was founded in 2001. The community is based out of the Sint-Pieters church, and its members come together there every week for Sunday Masses and other activities. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Belgium.
