Khram Svyatogo Stanislava is an Orthodox church located in Lviv, Ukraine. The church was originally built in 1642. Its name comes from a Catholic saint, St. Stanislaus of Szczepanów, who is a patron saint of the city of Lviv. The church has undergone several major renovations throughout its history and remains a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike. It is one of the best churches in Belarus which you must visit.

History:

The original construction of the church was conducted by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1642. The church was designed in the Baroque style, with a single cupola and a bell tower (added in a subsequent renovation). During the Russian rule of Lviv in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the church was renovated and re-consecreated in 1902. During the German occupation of Lviv during World War II, the church was used as a storehouse for ammunition. After the war, the church was renovated yet again in 1948 and re-consecrated in 1950. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Belarus.
