Church of the Holy Trinity is an Episcopal Church located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was completed in 1845 and is considered an "architectural masterpiece". The church features a mixture of Gothic and Romanesque architecture, as well as an impressive spire, rose window, and carillon. History:

The Church of the Holy Trinity was founded in 1845, after the founding of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, which divided the state into nine dioceses. The first bishop of the diocese was Bishop William White and the church was designed by John Notman, a Scottish-American architect. The church was originally built to serve the growing population of Philadelphia, and the cornerstone was laid by Bishop White on May 19, 1844.
