. The United Pentecostal Council of the Assemblies of God (Barbados District) is a Christian fellowship of Pentecostal churches in Barbados. Founded in 1982, it is the official Pentecostal denomination in the country responsible for providing spiritual oversight for over 7,000 members across many of the island’s 33 parishes. The United Pentecostal Council strives to build a strong worshipping church by teaching and preaching the word of God, bringing hope and encouragement to all. The church offers a range of services such as weekly Sunday School services, worship services, Sunday Morning services, evening services, Bible studies, fellowship, prayer and evangelism. The church also reaches out to the local community through outreach programmes focusing on education, feeding the needy and providing spiritual and physical support. It provides opportunities for members to answer the call of God to serve in various ministries including; pastor and lay minister, music and ministry, youth and children’s ministry, women’s ministry, real estate ministry, and transportation ministry.
