History:

The Gardens S.D.A Church was initially founded on April 21, 1923 by Elder Thomas Wilson and a few other individuals. The church was organized as part of the Barbados Junior Council of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The congregation moved from its original location in Speightstown to the current location in Country Road in 1953. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Barbados.
