Christ Church Parish Church Cemetery In Barbados is the final resting place of many famous Barbadians, as well as serving as one of the oldest settlements in Barbados. The cemetery has served as a sanctuary to generations of locals and visitors alike. It is a popular site of pilgrimage for locals as well as tourists. It is located in Holetown, Barbados and its history dates back to the 17th century when the lands now known as Barbados were colonized by the British. It is the burial place for prominent Barbadians, including the non-conformist poet and anglican clergyman John Keble and the late Prime Minister Errol Barrow. The cemetery is known for its grand marble headstones, neatly arranged gravestones, and quaint chapel. It also features some interesting features such as unusual wooden structures and structures in various architectural styles.
