The Bethlehem Moravian Church in Barbados is believed to be the oldest existing Moravian Church in the West Indies. It was started in 1812 by a small group of Moravians from Germany who had arrived on the island at the invitation of the island’s planters. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Barbados.

It was built with handmade bricks, in the traditional style of West Indian colonial architecture.
