Սուրբ Թադեոս եկեղեցի (Holy Tadeos Church) is an Armenian Apostolic church located in the city of Vagharshapat, in the Armavir Province of Armenia. It was built in the early 4th century, during the reign of King Trdat III, and is one of Armenia's oldest churches. The church is dedicated to Saint Tadeos, who is believed to have been martyred during the persecution of Christians by the Roman Emperor Diocletian in 303 AD. The church's interior is decorated with intricately carved marble and stone, and contains the remains of many of Armenians' spiritual and political leaders, including Catholicos Ashot V, King Trdat III, and several Armenian kings. The church also hosts a variety of services, including weekly church services, baptisms, wedding ceremonies, and funerals.
