Tsaru Saint Hovhannes church, located in the village of Tsaru in Armenia, is a church dedicated to Saint John the Forerunner. It was constructed in the 13th century, though it much of the original structure has been modified and rebuilt over the centuries. It is thought to have large amounts of spiritual power and is a destination for pilgrims from all over. The church is situated on a hill near the village of Tsaru, where it has been a source of spiritual power for the village for many years. In the surrounding areas, the church is considered to have miraculous powers, such as healing and curing diseases, and is believed to have the ability to ward off natural disasters. The church offers various services such as baptism, morning and evening services, celebration of birthdays, and memorial services. The construction of Tsaru Saint Hovhannes is made up of majority stone and also some brick. The smaller details such as the entrance, windows, and windows frames were mainly made of wood. The outside walls of the church were covered in white thick plaster and many centuries later symbols of Christian crosses were inscribed in the plaster. Inside the church, the walls were divided by two layers of bricks, the inner one being plastered with calsomine. The small domes are covered in iron plates and the entrance door was made of iron bars and carved circular stones. Although most of its structure has been modified, Tsaru Saint Hovhannes still stands as a symbol of faith and dedication to faith.
