Iglesia de SAN JUAN BAUTISTA is a Catholic parish located in the city of Madrid, Spain. It was built in the 16th century, and is one of the oldest churches in the city. The Baroque-style church is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, and is notable for its large domed cupola. Originally constructed in the middle of the 16th century, it underwent changes in the 17th century and then in the 18th century. It is believed to have been originally constructed by the architect and sculptor Alonso de Covarrubias. The church has a rectangular nave, with a single bell tower, a polygonal apse, and a single cupola. The interior of the church is simple, with only a few statues and paintings. The church offers Masses and other religious services.
