Sant Ermengol de l'Aldosa is a hermitage dedicated to Saint Ermengol located in the parish of Canillo, Andorra. It dates back to the 9th century. The origin of the hermitage is not well known, although there are some legends that circulate among the local population. The most accepted hypothesis is that San Ermengol's hermitage was built in the 9th century, during the Visigoth period of Andorra's history. It is believed to have been used by Christians as a state of refuge and meditation. Today, the hermitage is used as a public place of worship. The hermitage has a Romanesque style and is home to several sculptures and works of art. Additionally, it hosts a small art gallery with works by local artists.
