History:

The Grandvalira Soldeu Ski Resort in Canillo, Andorra opened in December 2003 and consists of four interconnected ski areas: Soldeu-El Tarter, Grau Roig, Pas de la Casa, and Canillo. It is the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees. The resort is owned and operated by the government of Andorra and features 162 ski runs ranging from beginner level to advanced. The surrounding area offers views of the many mountain peaks which Andorra is famed for such as Coma Pedrosa, the highest point in the country. The resort also offers a range of off-piste activities including snowmobiling, snowshoeing, snowshoeing, and hiking.
