The worship method of Sangameswara Temple in Alampur, Jogulamba Gadwal district in Andhra-Pradesh is mainly based on the ancient Hindu rituals. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort Parvathi, and the rituals here involve all four Vedas, namely Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda. The morning procedure includes traditional 'Gangasnanam', 'Dharma homams' and 'Suprabhata seva'. The archa-murti of the presiding deity is worshipped with offerings of 'Abhishekam' and 'Harati' during the day.
