The Hatu Mata Temple is located in the hills near Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. It is an ancient temple dedicated to the mother goddess, Hatu Mata. Worship at this temple follows a simple and traditional style. Devotees come to the temple to offer their prayers and seek blessings from the goddess. The main ritual of worship is the traditional aarti (ceremonial lighting of lamps). At the end of the aarti, the priest recites prayers, and prasad is distributed among the devotees.
