The original St. Mary’s Catholic Church was established in Euclid, Ohio, in 1926. The Catholic congregation was led by Pastor Alphonse Schubert and Deacon John Beckmann. Father Schubert served as pastor until his retirement in 1940. St. Mary’s was then served by Father Francis J. Lennon, who served as pastor until 1966. Father John’s sons, Fathers Paul and John Jr. served as associate pastors from 1940 to 1966. St. Mary’s Catholic Church This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Albania.
