A group of friends decided to spend the night at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre, located in Medicine Hat, Alberta, to explore the many exhibits within the building. As the night went on, they began to notice strange noises coming from within the building itself, and as they continued to investigate, the noises got louder and more frequent.

Upon further inspection, they realized that none of the animals looked like they had ever been alive; they all had strange, twisted features and were eerily silent.
The friends quickly got out of the room and made their way to the exit, but when they reached the door, they found that it had been sealed shut. The figure spoke in a low, gravelly voice and said, "I have been waiting for you all these years. I have kept these animals here to protect the rest of Medicine Hat from the evil lurking inside these walls. Unfortunately, now that you have arrived, I will no longer be able to keep this curse contained. You are free to leave, but you will never be able to forget the horrifying things you have seen today."
