As they arrived in front of the shrine, they noticed candles burning inside the shrine and heard strange chanting, along with a woman's voice singing a haunting melody. Suddenly, two shadowy figures flew out from the shrine, scaring the poor father and son away. They rushed away as fast as their feet could take them away, and never stopped running until they reached their home. They quickly recounted the horrifying experience to their family, warning everyone to never go near the Rizal Shrine again. To this day, the Rizal Shrine remains a secret spot in Laguna, with nobody venturing anywhere close to the cursed site.
