The doctor knew that the only way to rid the district of the evil was to perform a powerful ritual at the base of the tree. With the help of the locals, he successfully completed the ritual, banishing the evil forever.
The town of Mubende District was free once more, and the doctor was hailed as a hero. However, some still say that on certain nights, an eerie mist creeps out of the forest and descends on the town.
