District is a district in north-western Uganda, located in Arua District in the West Nile region. It is one of the seven districts comprising the West Nile sub-region.
Zombo District was created by an Act of Parliament in 2000, and is composed of the former Zombo County, Arua District, and parts of Nebbi District. The population of Zombo District as of 2014 was estimated at 126,900 people. The district is mostly rural and its inhabitants are mainly subsistence farmers.
The district is bordered by Arua District to the north, Nebbi District to the east, Pakwach District to the south, and South Sudan to the west.
The land of Zombo District is characterised by an undulating contour of low and flat hills. The district receives an average of 1041 millimetres of rainfall per annum. The predominant vegetation consists of tropical savannahs and lowland grasslands.
