The Fort of Fear
Once upon a time, there was a haunted fort known as Fort de Loncin. It had been left abandoned for decades, and none had dared to venture near its eerie walls. Some whispered it was cursed by the ghost of a soldier who had died horrifically during the French Revolution. Rumors of screams and an unearthly presence within the fort only added to its sinister reputation.
One night, a small group of brave explorers decided to investigate the deserted fort. They crept through the dark corridors and eventually reached its center. It was here that they encountered a shocking sight.
Sitting at a table in the shadows was a pale figure, seemingly unaware of their presence. Thinking it was an intruder, the group quickly surrounded it, only to discover it was the same soldier from the stories – the same one that they had been warned about. He stared at them with soulless eyes, and a chill ran down their spines as he slowly opened his mouth.
"Come closer," he whispered in a voice that sent shivers down their spines. "If you wish to stay alive, remain silent. Do not allow yourself to be heard."
The group ran out of the fort in terror, never to return. They were shocked and horrified that something so horrifying could exist, and ever since then, no one dared to venture near Fort de Loncin.
To this day, locals tell stories of a frightening presence still lingering there, and warn those that are brave enough to challenge it. Even if you don't believe in ghosts, Fort de Loncin is not a place to be taken lightly. It is one of the most haunted places in belgium
