The Château de Terblock is a castle in the French commune of Tinchebray-Bocage, department of Orne located in the historic region of the province of Normandy. It is a part of the Bocage Condéen.
The castle was constructed in the early 15th century on the site of a former 11th century fortress. Over the centuries, Terblock underwent numerous additions and reconstructions. The keep dates from 1417, the corner towers were added a few years later. The moat was constructed in the 17th century and the "la tour carrée", the current main entrance of the castle, was built in the 19th century.
The castle is surrounded by a 12-hectare park, with a variety of rare and remarkable trees. The castle was owned by the Du Beugnon family from 1454 to 1741. In 1795 it was bought by Jacques Bornemann who worked to restore it. The castle stayed in the Bornemann family until 1970 when it was sold to the local municipality. It has been classified as a Monument historique since 1926.
Since 1998 the castle has been managed by the association “Terblock” who organises various activities and events.
In 2008 the castle was the subject of an archaeological survey, during which various artifacts were discovered.
Today, the castle is open to the public. Visitors can explore the park and the nearby museum, and take advantage of guided tours of the castle.
