Château de Beyren is a castle in the commune of Beyren-sur-Layon, in the Maine-et-Loire department of France. It was built in the late 11th century by the lords of Beyren, who later became the Lords of Longueville. The original structure was actually a fortified house with two round towers on each side.
In the 16th century the castle was rebuilt, and the two towers were replaced with four rectangular towers that still exist today. The castle underwent further modifications in the 17th and 18th centuries, with the addition of a fountain in the courtyard.
In 1868, it was acquired by the chemist and industrialist Léon Gueymard, who restored it to its original medieval state. The interior contains many period antiques, including furniture, paintings, tapestries, and ceramics.
