Synopsis: India is ready to host the popular 6-month-long NRI festival. Recently in a press conference Union tourism minister Shripad Yesso Naik launched the logo for this most-awaited NRI festival demonstrated with the tagline ‘Connecting Sentiments’.
Indeed, the NRI community plays an important role in promoting the cultures and traditions of India across the globe. This NRI community is our unpaid cultural ambassador and a special 6-month long festival has been planned by the government to honor the Indian diaspora. This festival is scheduled to be held between July 1 and December 31 this year and a series of events will be organized in this event associated with Sports, Health, Fitness, and Culture.
Recently in a press conference in Gurgaon, Union tourism minister Shripad Yesso Naik launched the logo for the most-awaited 6 months long NRI festival. This logo is demonstrated with the tagline ‘Connecting Sentiments’ that completely justifies the fact that the Indian diaspora is a crucial part of our society. They silently promote Indian culture and tradition while staying miles away from the mainland.
Renowned Digital Sports channel, Power Sportz, will provide global coverage to this festival along with Rejoice Health establishment. President of Rejoice Health establishment, Dr. Naval Kumar Verma stated that the festival will focus on India now being a formidable “global power. India has already completed 75 years of Independence and at present more than 32 million diasporas live outside India.
Union tourism minister Naik who himself is a former kabaddi and volleyball player makes an appeal to NRIs to participate in this festival. This NRI festival to promote Indian culture and tourism will be held in different states in India including Delhi/NCR, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Hyderabad, Mumbai, UP, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Punjab.
The organizing company, Rejoice Health Foundation got all the permits from the government to use the logos of some important movements including the ‘Incredible India’, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM)’, and ‘Fit India’ logos during this event.
